D.A.R.I.U.S. Inc. Officially Launches on Giving Tuesday

Allow me to introduce myself, I am Minister OG DJ Hard. Yesterday marked an exciting milestone for our organization, Deliberately Activating Righteousness in United Sustainability (D.A.R.I.U.S Inc.), as we officially launched our online presence on Giving Tuesday. It was heartwarming to see so many people interacting with our website and learning about our mission. While we didn’t record any sales yet, the engagement and support we received reaffirmed the importance of what we’re building.

Here in Detroit, Michigan, our city faces significant challenges, including limited access to healthy food and sustainable resources. That’s why D.A.R.I.U.S. Inc.. is committed to making a real difference. Our mission is not only to address these issues but also to educate and unite our neighbors of all generations and backgrounds to embrace sustainable practices that benefit our community and the planet.

Our Flagship Programs are:

Unity Village Gardens

This initiative is rooted in education and action. It’s designed to teach participants how to grow their own food while promoting healthy eating habits and self-sufficiency. We believe that every seed planted is a step toward building a stronger, healthier Detroit. This past summer we partnered with Mission: City Community Center to offer eco-adventure learning workshops with elementary students. We will continue working with our community partners throughout the city as we build out the future home of Unity Village Gardens on the eastside of Detroit.

Re-Up: Recycling and Upcycling Program

Our entrepreneurial program encourages innovative thinking by transforming what might otherwise be discarded into valuable products. Re-Up empowers individuals to develop skills in recycling and upcycling, creating opportunities for personal and financial growth while contributing to a more sustainable environment.
