U.N.I.T.Y. Village Gardens
Unity Village Gardens is our flagship site dedicated to hands-on education in sustainability, gardening, and eco-friendly living. Participants can attend workshops, learn to cultivate produce, and explore sustainable practices. In the future, we plan to offer eco-friendly garden suites, crafted from upcycled shipping containers, for mission-driven groups to stay, work, and engage with our community. Currently, we’re transforming a purchased property in Detroit, MI, and aim to expand through city partnerships and land acquisitions. Get involved today and help us grow!
Our Initiatives
Re-Up Sustainability Entrepreurship Program
The RE-UP program empowers youth to become sustainability-focused entrepreneurs by teaching them the principles of recycling, upcycling, and reselling. Elementary students participate in weekly sessions, building skills to create new products from repurposed materials. The program culminates in our annual Spring RE-UP Marketplace, where participants showcase and sell their creations. Through this initiative, we instill entrepreneurial confidence while promoting environmental stewardship and economic relief for families.
